Cara Borawski has built a career by following curiosity more than a script. Before stepping into her current role leading North America Giving & Community Impact at Dell Technologies, she worked across multimedia production, corporate responsibility, and innovation, experiences that didn’t always seem connected at the time but ultimately shaped the way she approaches community impact today.
Cara believes deeply in expanding access to technology and opportunity. Her work focuses on removing barriers, uplifting local talent, and ensuring that technological progress benefits communities that are too often overlooked. In addition to her North America portfolio, she also leads Dell’s global network of regional giving managers, extending these efforts to communities around the world.
She lives just outside Philadelphia and finds joy in time spent with family, friends, and the animals that share her home.

Sam Sanchez is an Accident Health Claim Adjuster at CHUBB and a Hopeworks Alumnus. He was honored to attend the Hopeworks 25th Anniversary as a member of the audience, an experience that became a turning point in his journey. Hearing Hopeworks alumnus, Nyree Oliver’s quote, “Life is like a box of Uno cards; keep picking from the deck until you have the winning hand,” deeply inspired him.
That moment sparked his commitment to becoming an advocate for mental health awareness. Today, as a young Hispanic professional, he is proud to serve as a role model and help open doors for others, building on the confidence and opportunities that Hopeworks helped him discover.
